Participation Terms

Participants of Friday Harbor Bike Fest agree to the following terms when they purchase tickets.

Sales Are Final

All sales are final and will not be refunded so long as the event is held. There will be no refunds even if you cannot attend the event, the weather is not favorable, or you cannot obtain a reservation for your vehicle on the ferry. (Walk-on passengers, even with bikes, do not require a reservation.)

Purchases Available Will-Call Only

All tickets will be delivered to you when you check-in at Friday Harbor Bike Fest. The one exception is that, at around the time of the event, we will mail product and an IRS letter to those who sponsor the event but do not order tickets or other merchandise.

Liability Waiver

By purchasing tickets with Friday Harbor Bike Fest, you hold The San Juan Island Lions Foundation, the San Juan Lions Club, and their directors, officers, and volunteers harmless from all claims arising out of the Friday Harbor Bike Fest event. You also agree to indemnify and defend the same from claims and suits brought by participants for whom you purchase event tickets, and for persons whom you bring to the event, and your and their heirs, family members and love-ones, arising out of your participation in Friday Harbor Bike Fest and the participation of those for whom you purchase event tickets. Your agreement to hold harmless, indemnify, and defend relates to any claim arising out of the Friday Harbor Bike Fest event in any way including but not limited to injury and personal property due to the riding of bicycles, the drinking of beer or eating of food, camping, or any other activity relating to the event. You and those for whom you purchase tickets participate in the Friday Harbor Bike Fest event at your own risk.

By purchasing tickets for the Bike event, you agree to sign a form at the event with the waiver stated above.

Email

Friday Harbor Bike Fest will, on occasion, email to you information that we believe you may find useful about the Friday Harbor Bike Fest event using the email address you have provided to us. These emails will be no more than once per month on average unless unexpected circumstances require additional notifications. You may, at any time, opt-out of receiving these emails by using the instructions at the bottom of each of these emails. See our privacy policy for more information.
