AHOY Bikers! Our biking day begins at the beautiful San Juan Island Brewery at 8:00 AM with a hearty, no host, breakfast prepared by our local scurvy crew called the The Cutthroat Pirates . . . guaranteed to get you ready to peddle. If you are not peddling, why not take a stroll through downtown Friday Harbor and check out all the great little shops of all sorts. A walk to the Port Park and docks is fun too! You might be greeted by our famous Popeye, the Harbor seal.

The idea of a fest is to have fun and choose your own activities. In addition to numerous ride choices, you can start your ride with the group at the shotgun start, or you can arrive later and enjoy a more casual ride to share with your friends and fellow cyclists.

After the biking is over, enjoy our beer garden from 3:00 to 7:00 PM. We will have several beer and wine choices and if you don’t see what you like in our patio, you are just steps away from the front door of the Brewery where you will find an incredible selection.

Also from 3:00 to 7:00 PM we will have several music groups playing for your enjoyment. Local groups will be playing blues, rock and pop tunes that will make you want to shake your fannypack. The Argyle Street Jazz Band plays traditional New Orleans style jazz and guarantees that your “toes will be tappin”. Kate Schuman has sung from Friday Harbor to Nashville, and delivers an amazing collection of country and pop tunes. Her Patsy Cline program at our theatre was a barn burner.

This year a local vendor will be selling their delicious summer fare including hamburgers, hot dogs, grilled chicken or a vegan burger.
